Have been away doing other stuff the past week or so. Have not had time to check logs. Decided to do some Dxing on 8414.5 and discovered a few interesting logs. Mind you I'm using the ALA 1530. Not exactly great for 8 Mhz. The Inverted V is currently down for repair.

    GMDSS (DSC)

My GMDSS logs (DSC) are for Coastal stations only. I do not do ships because the reality is you can never be too sure where the broadcast actually originates from. With Coastal stations we know exactly where they are.

Evenings I tune to 2187.5 with The Icom R75 and Perseus. I use the ALA which you can see on the left. daytime I tune to 16804.5, 12577 and 8414.5. You can see the Inverted V I use to monitor these HF frequencies

My current number of countries heard are:
    2187.5 -   xxx
    8414.5 -   xxx
    12577 -    xxx
    16804.5 - xxx
